If there is one food I could choose to eat my entire life, it would be shrimps. Everything about this seafood is heavenly. I always get excited whenever I know there are shrimps on certain parties I go to, because nothing is even better than unlimited sea foods (I make sure to get on the party early because unfortunately, shrimps are the first ones to vanish!) So, enough with the for-the-love-of-shrimp talk, let's get down to the actual reason why I am writing this.

This is one of the simplest recipe ever as well as the fastest as it only would take you about 30 min total including the preparation. For this recipe, I used grilled corn that I purchased along the street lol because I wasn't able to buy one when I did the grocery and also because I have no time to boil or anything. Haha!

(The ingredients on the photo are incomplete!)

Ingredients:

500 grams of shrimps

100 grams of unsalted butter (or margarine but cut down the salt if you're using margarine or salted butter)

1 head of garlic (the more, the better!)

1 cooked corn (Mine is grilled!)

Homemade Cajun dry mix (ingredients below)

1 tbsp cayenne powder

2 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp ground black pepper

1 tbsp onion powder

1/2 tbsp dried oregano

1/2 tbsp garlic salt

1/2 tbsp brown/white sugar

1/2 tbsp chili powder

DIRECTIONS:

1. Clean and wash shrimps.

2. Prepare the dry cajun seasoning. Mix together all dry ingredients.

3. Melt butter in pan in low heat. Add in the garlic and saute. Do not burn the garlic.

4. Drop in the shrimps. Fry it 3-5 minutes each side until it's orangey.

5. Place now your DIY-Cajun dry seasoning. Mix to incorporate the seasoning with the shrimps and butter. Do it for 2-3 minutes.

6. Let it rest for a bit then it's ready to serve!
