Fried chicken, crispy or not, is a regular in most Filipino homes. It's delicious sometimes partnered with filipino favorite, Kfc banana ketchup (altho I'm not really a fan of the duo) but it could get boring... in bisaya term, "makabalaw". I use to get excited when I remember I picked up a gravy pack on the groceries the other day but there's just something I didn't like about store-bought gravy. So that's when I really wanted to make my own gravy - esp since I keep hearing people say it's so easy to make! Well, it definitely is! I've been making my own gravy for about half a year now and it gets better and better every time(um, i swear:p)!

Ingredients
2tbsp of butter
1/4 kilo of chicken (any part will do; I only cooked 3 pieces because it was only me and my brother eating and I wasn't that hungry)
3 cloves of garlic
1 onions (depends on you how big)
dried rosemary (optional)
paprika (optional)
salt and pepper to taste

For gravy:
2 tbsp of flour
The chicken grease and juice left overs when pan-frying the chicken with butter
1/2 of 1 Chicken Knorr cubes or if you have fresh chicken broth that's okay
salt and pepper to taste
1) Season or marinade chicken with garlic, onions, rosemary, paprika, salt and pepper.
2) Add 2 tbsp of butter to the pan.
3) Pan Fry the chicken until cooked.
4) Get the chicken out of the pan, let cool in the cooling rack.
5) Add 2 tbsp of flour on the pan while stiring it fast to it won't become lumps.
6) Add 3/4 glass of hot water. Stir.
7) Drop 1/2 size of chicken cubes. Stir.
8) Let the sauce sizzle and become a creamy.
9) Drizzle on the chicken.
10) Taste it, and add the necessary seasonings needed to fit taste.
Potatoes are optional but would go great with the dish.
There you go!!! Make your mom and dad say WOW. 😂
